Outpatient Treatment

Outpatient treatment at Arizona Rehab Campus consists of a variety of services that allow you to function within your natural, daily environment. Being able to work, pursue your education and interact with supportive family and friends are important facets of a meaningful life, and you will be able to maintain your schedule and enjoy healthy activities while receiving outpatient treatment here.

Our Arizona Rehab Campus clinicians provide evidence-based outpatient treatment utilizing best-practices techniques in one-to-one individual counseling as well as family, couples and group therapy settings. In addition to these core therapies, the ARC provides nontraditional interventions such as: equine therapy, acupressure, meditation, art therapy, yoga, and qi gong.

Substance Abuse Education

Understanding the reasons that underlie drug and alcohol abuse, and knowing the way certain substances can affect the body – these are vital to your successful, long-term recovery. In this informative program, you will learn how family, social and professional relationships are impacted and even destroyed by addiction. Counseling may be included. Specific instructional sessions provide an opportunity to examine the root causes of addiction and how some of these may apply to you. This information helps you to understand and follow the solid, supportive recovery plan uniquely structured for you.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT)

CBT and REBT are forms of treatment that focus on examining the relationships between thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Often called “talk therapy,” these techniques allow you, under the guidance of your therapist, to reveal to yourself many of the unconscious, negative beliefs you have that prompt you to drink alcohol or abuse drugs. Negative thoughts such as these often are why addicts attempting recovery fall into the lapse/relapse trap. In ARC’s CBT/REBT program, the goal is clear: As you “unlearn” powerful negative beliefs by revealing and addressing them, you are developing other thought processes that can lead to healthier activities and more positive perspectives on life.
